PHR SA signed a preliminary agreement with US-Austrian investment fund - Versus AG

On July 27, 2011 Polski Holding Rekrutacyjny SA signed a preliminary agreement with US-Austrian investment fund - Versus AG.

According to the agreement, the Versus Holding AG fund and Polski Holding Rekrutacyjny SA started negotiations to determine the company investing conditions to implement its own activities policy of it acquisition in Central and Eastern Europe.

Summer work of young Poles

Bartosz Kaczmarczyk in Rzeczpospolita newspaper (06/12/2011) commented about seasonal work. According to estimations of Polski Holding Rekrutacyjny S.A., because of steady economical situation for seasonal work abroad will go about 500 thousand of Poles this year. Roughly the same number will be employed in Poland.

The latest data concerning the temporary employment sector

Bartosz Kaczmarczyk, chairman of the Polish Recruiting Holding SA, commented on the portal HRstandard.pl the latest data of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy concerning the temporary employment sector. According to him, statistics show that the Polish market of temporary work still has some space to grow, but there are also some barriers to overcome. First of all in Poland this industry is highly fragmented.

Bartosz Kaczmarczyk, the chairman of Polski Holding Rekrutacyjny S.A. in newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna state, that abolishment of work limitations for Eastern European “accession” countries that joined the European Union in 2004 can deal with an employee market within 2-3 years, where employers will have to comply with the expectations and demands of job candidates.

Bartosz Kaczmarczyk in Echo Miasta newspaper

Bartosz Kaczmarczyk, the chairman of Polski Holding Rekrutacyjny S.A. state in Echo Miasta newspaper that the market of temporary work in Poland changed permanently as a result of the crisis. He added that many companies have not survived the economic crisis and had to close their activities. There is still a lot of small agencies, that could fall soon, if there will be consolidation of the industry. He noted also that majority of temporary employment agencies in Poland in 2010 has made up for losses and return to profitability.
